Students are required to initiate and complete an approved, thesis/degree project during their 3-semester residency at NSCAD. Progress is reviewed regularly during the course of the student’s program. Given the compressed nature of the Program, a significant proportion of a student’s thesis/degree project research will be carried out under the auspices of a required course. This work stemming from this research will be used as a basis for evaluating a student’s performance in both the individual course(s) and in the degree project itself.
